The Muscular Dystrophy Association is scheduled to host its third annual Sugar Land Flamingo Bowl at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 20 at Stafford Lanes in the Sugar Land, Tx area.
The event is open to residents of Sugar Land and its surrounding areas.
Participants are scheduled to bowl while raising funds for ALS research and treatment for MDA families in the Greater Houston, Tx area.
Participating bowlers are asked to raise a minimum of $100.
Those who raise $100 receive a free MDA T-Shirt.
Organizers are scheduled to award trophies to the highest fundraising team, highest scoring team and the best-dressed team.
The public may make donations in cash, with check or online, and all donations are tax deductible.
Sugar Land resident Barbara Adcock founded the Flamingo Bowl and chaired it after she was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Adcock passed away in October 2011, and this year’s event will be held in her memory.
